Italians refer to it that way as well. When I hear it I just assume you're European.

No offense intended, Romain I was jokingly referencing stories I have heard about European operators and distributors asking manufacturers in the 1990s for games with lots of drop targets, and "western" themes if possible The game "Maverick" is said to be an example of the response

My guess is those requests were prompted by fond memories of golden-era Gottlieb games that earned very well and that sometimes fit that description

...and I love Fathom, too! I think it is one of the best games to appear during one of the greatest "micro-periods" in pinball history. To stand out as it does among so many other great games of that time is very impressive.
