No but she was Florida AG 2011-2019. Epstein was first charged in 2008 and then arrested again by feds in 2019. It's not like he was an unknown figure during her reign who we only found out about after she left. There must have been state level investigations going on as well

If there were reasons, I can see it as: Comey's daugther!!!!!! So yeah, they pulled her name off the list, thinking it would be a major distraction. And expecting to be able to reply to the inevitable press questions with an implication that she was involved in her Dad's crimes.
