Apparently this needs to be said: You want to disrupt Trump's fascist attack, you need to use power against REPUBLICANS, not Democrats. Guess what Dems did last week (reportedly w/involvement from villain #2 Hakeem Jeffries)? Made the Speaker give up his power for a week.

Dems didn't win. The object was to force a vote on the Epstein files. The Republicans just turned their back and walked away defeating the effort. The Republicans lost nothing and gained time. The Dems had their effort frustrated

"The Republicans lost nothing and gained time." Funny...the consensus is that the GOP ran away and basically showed that they are cowards. For the next few weeks, they are going to be hammered about Epstein.

How often has "The Consensus" been right or helped the Dems? The Dem effort was frustrated. Republicans don't care if they ran its a win to them b/c they can't be shamed or humiliated The goal was to force a vote and were going to settle it was a win for Dems because the Reps left town as victory?

Well, if that's what you think, then have at it. Doesn't change the fact that the GOP look like cowards for running away. The Epstein stink is still on them.

Still think the Epstein story is sticking like glue to Trump and republicans and will keep sticking? It gets more and more probably every week that it slowly fades away

Finally, Stink does not translate into votes with the general public or victory for the Dems. If it did Trump never would have won.

I doubt the "Epstein stink" will hold until the election. The general public has a short memory, the Dems can't effectively message, the MSM will become bored & new distracting scandals will arise. I hope I'm wrong. It would take some whopping new provable revelation to change this dynamic

They only looked like cowards to us on the left because thats how the Dems messaged this loss. Try googling stories about the Republicans leaving early. See how many mention "They Ran" or "They were cowards". I'm tired with the Dems accepting symbolic wins, that mean nothing, as actual wins.

I get that you all have a rabid desire to heighten polarization in Congress, which is Trump's super power. That helps him. You gotta do the opposite, and ON THIS ISSUE you can do it easily w/o sacrificing policy.
