The crypto grift will go down as one of the least directly impactful things destroying the republic. Turning DHS into secret police, defunding services and tax increases due to tariffs are much more impactful for us normal folk.

The crypto deals are noise compared to direct impacts on people’s lives. DHS, prices, loss of services. In terms of legislative errors it’s far down the list. It ignores the fact both parties answer to the wealth constituency rather than the people. The problem is the system as a whole not one party
