i don't care for ai and i don't think it should be tolerated at all but i can see how getting an education in the last five years probably would make these kids a bit mercenary about it. it's bad but it's no incomprehensible. they did get a rotten time of it.

My friend just finished her uni year; 81% on the final exam which was also top mark of the year. She didn't use any AI-LLM tools, many others on her course did... Anecdotal, yes, but fits with actual research that shows AI-LLM tools in learning do more damage than good.
