If the guy wasn't a Kennedy, he'd be in grippy socks jail right now. But this is the US, where rich assholes and dynastic nepo babies can do whatever the hell they want. We were an oligarchy long before we became a nascent authoritarian State. There's a causal relationship in that dynamic, I think.
