The reason I don't eat in the evening is because digesting food increases heart rate and increases stress/lowers HRV (which affects my Garmin metrics). This is the same reason I quit drinking alcohol - it completely tanks my HRV, resting HR and sleep quality (on top of feeling like crap the next day
On the diabetes CGM question - I had an elevated A1C that was approaching pre-diabetic. I used a CGM to figure out what foods I was eating that were elevating my blood sugar and showing up in the elevated A1C. Blame doctors for reporting on A1C if you want to stop non-diabetic people from using CGMs
