yeah but this is now like, 4 playoff opponents out of their last 5 that have been kneecapped by injuries and the one healthy team of those 5 swept them, like I get that you play the team in front of you but what did that franchise do to be this karmically blessed
They survived career altering injuries to their last two All-NBA players, had their best teams coincide with the Jordan and LeBron eras, and are one of 6 teams who have never won the draft lottery. As a fan, I don’t feel like we’ve been “blessed” karmically or otherwise. And I hate injuries.
I was just talking about the last two years -- but if you want to start expanding this back 3+ decades, there are also 28 other franchises that have those same exact gripes (and not only have the Knicks not won the lottery since Ewing, they haven't even improved their standing since then)
