No child should contract measles. There is a safe and effective vaccine to prevent the disease. Measles causes life long life threatening side effects. That can 100% be avoided with vaccination. She a licensed Medical Doctor. Follow their advice. Save children from harm.

I had measles when I was a kid, 5 times. The last vaccine I got was for polio, three years after the vaccine came out. Two years later I got polio. No vaccines for me thank you. Maybe if they hadn't left all the illegals in, they wouldn't be having this problem.

If you are a boomer and do not have record of the MMR , get one . Make sure that you can receive a live virus shot. It is easy, free at pharmacies, and likely your first shots in the seventies have depleted. Little to no side effects for most. Get your shingles shots too .
