I know what disenchantment means. I'm trying to say that what democrats did will keep us here if we keep status quo, but it's the $billionaire class who paid politicians to move more money to THEM that caused the apathy. The way out is a new generation of leaders that go after them.

Connolly died less than a month after blocking an AOC seat. Her staff would have drug her dead carcass around the capitol if Diane Feinstein's family would have let them. So would Ruth Bader-Ginsberg's. And Trump is FUOTUS. There is NOTHING sustainable about the DNC.

I'm not happy with their response, but they are the only party that still stands with democracy so I stand with them. Priority #1 is to wrest this country back from Fascist Republicans. My hope is that we can get next generation leaders elected to work on the party after that. For now we need unity

'... the only party...' Do you know why Michael Dukakis sided with George H.W. Bush, when Bush told the @LWV to shove their Debates? I mean, aside from their refusal to provide the questions prior. It meant that the new Commission on Presidential Debates could limit access to the stage to two.

The fact that the DNC is rigging primaries should tell you exactly how much they care about democracy.

My point is not to destroy unity. My point it to build a base around solid, fully-vetted, candidates that lay open their entire lives for public scrutiny, prior to our allowing them to be on a ballot. That means we have to stop listening to money and start listening to facts.

I agree with you 1000%. Let's stop trashing the ONLY party that has redeemable people in it..and, instead let's start fixing it. What do you think about what Newsom is doing? I think it's great asks I don't think it's just about 2028. I think he's honest about his concern for democracy..

It's working. That's what counts. Right now anything that takes them out of their comfort zone is good. Dems are waking up, one by one, step by step. But these are things they should have done in 2016 and 2020. Instead of trying to use Trump as a greater of two evils.

I agree. They're on the right path now. Pritzker & Chicago's Mayor did a great job today providing content &calling out the hypocrisy! Good for them! That's what needs to done by all democrats every day, challenging every lie!
