Why is pnw having such late blooming dahlias....yall the sweet spot closest to Central Mexican weather. I'm in 10a Orlando so I don't start growing until September, but have a great season. Hope for prolific blooms to bless u with

Well,I know i put mine in the ground kinda late, and it's my first serious time trying to grow them soooo...🤷🏼♀️ but a friend has started seeing more and more every day!

What a brilliant red! I have Nick Sr which is red with yellow fringed edges and highlights and Brigitta Alida which is more of the Black Dahlia red coloring. This is a masterpiece tho

I figured. And bless you for giving it life as it most likely goes to trash if vendors can't get rid of spring overstock by fall bulb time. At least you'll get tubers for next year guaranteed no matter how long it blooms for. Best of luck. Enjoy the Garden Diva that is Dahlias lol
