Lisa Cook is likely to be disappointed in SCOTUS. Current court majority absolutely in thrall to the strong executive view. Exactly the opposite of the Framers’ intent.

SCOTUS? The ones that lied their way on? That were bribed by billionaires? That are owned by the heritage foundation or project 2025? That may likely be on the Epstein list themselves? There are three with spine and that doesn’t add up to squat with the anti-constitutional, anti American majority.

Be aware that there are stock market nitwits who want a rate cut as much as Trump does and will delude themselves into thinking this thuggish attack on an ally of Chairman Powell is good news. Keep your eyes on the currency and Treasury markets.

The court will deliberate and ultimately rule. But the foreign exchange and Treasury markets have already announced their verdict: The dollar is weaker and longer-dated Treasury bonds are sliding. A Trump-puppet Fed is unthinkable to sober, rational investors. Stay tuned...
