Given the current situation, Europe needs the strength, ingenuity, and courage that Britain demonstrated at Dunkirk to turn around a seemingly hopeless situation. Ukraine has done this repeatedly in recent years, but the rest of Europe has not.

I don't see any European politician who would be able or willing to initiate a real act of strength, nor do I see a population that would be prepared to support Ukraine in this. In this respect, you get what you order. And if this continues, it will be a disaster for Ukraine and the rest of Europe.
