That, too. The thought that 44% of the US workforce isn't paid a living wage is appalling. The thought that seniors and the disabled often don't receive a Social Security check large enough to pay basic living expenses is a travesty. Something needs to be done. People can't afford to live.

We need UBI to help all the people losing their jobs and incomes to the tariffs and the BBB. We need UBI to help people who are losing their income to AI.

We need UBI to help those not paid a living wage. We need UBI to help those struggling to survive. We need UBI because it's the decent thing to do.
