Give Klingons non-warrior jobs on Trek. The ENTERPRISE episode about the Klingon lawyer is a... Okayish example of what I'm talking about. Or DS9's singing chef.

Starfleet Academy looks to be giving us that!
Yup. I get "Planet of Hats", especially in the TV SCI FI tradition Trek comes from. But after decades it gets boring and doesn't ring true to anyone's lived reality.
I want to see a Klingon accounting nerd.
Krock, KPA.
I'm torn... Would a Ferrengi prefer a Klingon CPA, or would they always worry about an "honor killing" if the books were off? On the other hand, would a Klingon look at the tax code as a battle of wits, trying to justify exemptions and maximize profit margins to "win"?
I think that a Ferengi wouldn't want a Klingon accountant because the books would be scrupulously honest. A Klingon accountant would see honest book keeping as a point of personal honour, where the Ferengi ASSUME that the books are cooked, so long as they are the ones doing the cooking.
"Those who create false ledgers have no honor..."
