OK my g502 hero just arrived, this already feels infinitely better than my old g403, especially the mouse wheel, holy shit. Only problem is the Linux support. Can't rebind the buttons if I use Wayland, apparently. Controlling the RGBs, though... Not a big deal.

Yeah I ended up using Windows and Logitech's software to do it and then saving the profile to the mouse. It sucks, but whatcha gonna do? The software doesn't seem to wanna run under Wine, but a VM with direct passthrough might be viable. I was dual-booting at the time, since I still played Destiny.
