My wife had been watching. It happened overnight. Did you have some information as to the day this was to go into effect? We thought May 1st.

And oh gosh I didn't say this.... Sorry this happened!
I'm sorry this was a shock. Your experience is a preview. Real shortages by July. Maybe sooner.
Sooner. I know it's wrong, one of those things that make me feel bad about myself sometimes. BUT, I can hardly wait for sticker shock for MAGA buying their new summer merch.
Schadenfreude. We'll all be able to spell it soon. But be careful...that self satisfied, "you deserve this and so much more" feeling is addictive.
Advice well deserved. 👍🏼
It may have happened when they got to a specific point in the process. You know how they show every painful step while you're endlessly waiting? I usually can't tell what is going on, but for sure when they say "customs," that's probably when it happens. Toward the end.
These items are 4 lapel pins (thank you in Chinese characters). LOL! $61 lol. Seriously, I am laughing.
Ohhh nooooo That is baaad. And they were so you could be nice to other people & thank them. You know you can return them, but you got them for a reason. And you still need them. But now they're ridiculously expensive! Bummer plus.
The thing is that they won't be delivered. Ships have stopped arriving. We'll get a full refund. Guess something perishable instead. Any ideas for a Chinese bike shop crew? They were above & beyond kind to a couple of neighbor kids.
They have literal gold stars as lapel pins at Michael's, but of course you'd have to find them in stock. My local store says shipping, and you're back where you started, that way.
I don't know. The pins were perfect. Like medals. They would have loved them. Michael's carries lapel pins of various sorts. $4 each I'm sure Hobby Lobby does as well but don't know (Dobbs decision involvement)
Tariffs went into effect March 22. Then they were raised, but I'm not sure when that went into effect. The last reported rate is 150%, so that may be what Temu is going by. The Melon Felon is so all-over-the-place on this, it must be nigh on impossible for exporters.
