I mean, also, people were asking him for series about various folklores/mythologies from around the world. and rather than speak for those cultures, he signal boosted people FROM those cultures already doing it. Humility, even while throwing his own name around.

Just remembered another YA fantasy series I liked, The Old Kingdom. and if you do audio books, you can hear this story of necromancy, magic, kingdoms, and bloodlines read by Tim "I made toxic smog sound sexy" Curry.
