Why are none of these reporters bringing up the fact that crime will obviously go down if people are scared to leave their homes? No one can be robbed if no one is on the streets. It’s unconscionable to frame this as a positive outcome.

I think this was a softball question that any of us could have answered better than Wes Moore. @retiredwhitelady.bsky.social had the exact right answer (street crime goes down in a police state), I am shocked and disappointed that Governer Moore did not make that exact point.

We have very little functioning media left. They've abandoned not only what they learned in J school, but basic common sense. Crime plummeted in 2020 as people stayed home too, a lesson clearly lost on them.
