No one was demanding a blank check. The roadways do tho. when was the last time road ways were fiscally responsible? Septa is one of the lowest paid agency in the US and also the single most efficient in the country. You just dont like septa and want to see it die while knowing nothing about it.

The plan would set transit and SEPTA up for unsafe conditions and unreliability in a few years as ancient trains go unreplaced and maintenance is cancelled. PennDOT, SEPTA, and pretty much everyone not a Republican have said the plan will not work and is irresponsible.
