Instead of hiring ICE agents to terrorize neighborhoods why didn’t Congress fund many immigration judges to process asylum claims quickly?

They provided for an additional 200 being hired. Probably not enough still, but not nothing.

They tried that before the election, the bill had bipartisan support. It would have funded 100s of judges. Then trump told them to kill it so he could run on immigration. So they did.
