There are traitorous Canadians (mostly Polievre supporters) who continue to travel to the US and buy US stuff. I have Facebook acquaintances like this, and you can read FB comments from others. They are against the ‘elbows up’ support of the Canadian economy, just because they lost the election.
I buy US products and use Amazon. I am on a disability income that is 45% below the poverty line. I don’t support Conservatives and most Liberal policies. My fave sticker.
I understand if people buy some US products as needed because of their budget or availability - that’s not who I’m talking about. It’s the traitors who brag about their vacations to Florida because “nobody can tell me what to do” or who make fun of the ‘Elbows Up’ movement to buy Canadian products.
I myself am on a very tight budget, but that doesn't stop me from avoiding buying American products. In Canada, you can find any product you need that isn't American. It just takes a little effort.
My income and many people with disabilities, are on an income that is FORTY FIVE PERCENT *below* the poverty line. Thats not anywhere near being a *tight* budget. It is EXTREME poverty. There are people who have a lower income
