I realize it’s Texas where people think everyone after birth should carry an Uzi but if there’s any common sense laws there, an unarmed 11 year old who is running away after ringing a doorbell wouldn’t be considered a threat who can be shot legally.

Hey Texans: If you own a doorbell, you cant shoot anyone on your porch. Make that a law. Texas is SICK.

If it ever went to court, the person either has to be inside your house or brandishing a weapon. Otherwise the shooter will be charged with manslaughter.
