I’m not trying to dunk on this person or anyone in particular, but I want to be clear about how I think about this: Yes, I expect more of Democrats than Republicans, because I expect more of politicians who promise to defend what I stand for than I do of politicians who promise to destroy it.

The reason the Infrastructure Act was voted on was because the bigger bill - the one that would have covered SO much more - wasn’t supported by all dems. Some say the IA as a bad compromise (I know I did and still do) - we were promised that they would vote on the rest “later” - still waiting
