I would guess that's because the cutoff for staying on a parent's health insurance is 26. Factor in time it takes to be approved for Medicaid and I bet there's a number of first time enrollees at that age, folks still in their early adulthood who are still struggling to pay their bills. The GOP

constantly bitched and moaned about inflation but apparently don't understand that younger adults will put off getting health insurance if they have to choose between that and monthly survival expenses. Republicans decided that health care is a luxury, and not a necessity, so they won't understand
