I went fishing again today, but gave my catch to a homeless lady in the area, teaching her how to cook them wrapped in damp leaves in the coals of a campfire. Seeing her smile made the day even brighter.

I grew up as a street kid, I know what it's like, and don't wish things like that for anyone. It was a homeless Vietnam vet that took took me and three other kids under his care to teach us to survive our there. Whenever I see someone struggling, I try to help.

I do the same, for me it was a short time after my mother passed and my father kicked me out, before my grandmother found out and came and found me. But still.... I learned what it is like. I had friends thankfully that helped keep me fed. I am so happy that someone found and helped you.🫂💙
