Europe would continue helping them with funding and weapons. They would not simply STOP COLD, all weapons and funding. It would make it harder on Ukraine, but russia wouldn´t be able to continue easily. Ukraine would still have money and weapons from European armies.

The US has an agreement with other NATO countries to defend Ukraine, it was made in 1994. It would go against the agreement do do otherwise. It would also be more proof that the US is an unreliable ally. Trump needs to do what was promised.

The only time it has ever been invoked was after 9/11 and for the U.S., and now he’s backing out. So you can forget that UKR agreement in return for abandoning their nukes.

Wrong on both counts. If trump stops aid to Ukraine he would be in contempt of Congress ans liable for impeachment. Not to mention reaction from voters. trump cannot stop the EU from all aid, it would be the death of democracy in EU, and the EU leaders know it.

Republicans control congress, Trump could nuke someone randomly and they wouldn’t impeach him. 1. He’s already usurped congressional powers - willingly given to him by the GOP Congress and the Supreme Court. He can do anything he wants at this point. 2. There’s nothing the public can do. There is still more than 50% of actual voters supporting him. And it’s likely there’s not another vote.
