Yes, and the half-lie. Epstein had no lists. Epstein's contact list was recovered by the US. His client list was not. His client list is likely still sitting in a safe on his Island in Bermuda jurisdiction, completely out of reach of the FBI.

Also, while he did commit suicide, it was as a result of psychological abuse at the hands of the prison he was in. He was basically bullied until he committed suicide, and given the means to do so when he was on suicide watch.
