It's not a science insofar as an accurate model for how people are categorized. But that doesn't make it completely useless in making generalizations about people's personalities. If you weren't so not thinky you'd know this.

Newtonian physics are not an accurate model for the laws of physics. But that doesn't make them useless for many simple cases. MB has no physical or neurological basis for the classifications it has described. That doesn't make those classifications useless in all contexts.
