Did the frame hold up well over the years? Is it aluminum?

Yes it is aluminum. I have only had it four years and so far the frame is fine. The only real issue I had was with the plastic retainers used in the bottom bracket, but I replaced them with metal and no further issues. Otherwise I love it! They no longer make that model, but it is a Riverside 520.

Looks like a pretty solid bike 👍 I have an old steel touring bike I picked up for free that I need to restore eventually, so I'd probably purchase a road bike from them instead, but good to know they make reliable aluminum frames. I still like aluminum despite what all the naysayers say haha.

Yeah aluminum frames are still but lighter.
