I feel like giving to the poor only makes more sense the longer the poor are going to be around
It’s more since “you can’t take it with you”, you might as well give it to the less fortunate.
I kinda feel like “lilies of the field” has a very different message than “I mean since the apocalypse is definitely coming you might as well give it all away for good place points”
