The classroom conservatives think we would all have. But this classroom is a rarity. Hell, maybe it should be this. Maybe we should be teaching the youth what privilege actually is, who has it and why we should fight for equality for all. It will never be painless. But learning isn’t easy.
Seems a more immersive & experientially uncomfortable discourse for most mixed groups. It compels insight that is different for each person. It compels people to question their world view & others' realities beyond their own. Learning isn't indoctrination. It fosters insight. Accepting by some hard.
She is one badass teacher. Very important lessons are often painful.

It gives me the feeling I got when I would hear some politician was going to live in low-income housing on a food stamp budget for a week. Then go home to the suburbs and and a big dinner. Cos- play. It's a goddammned week, for God's sake. It's over in 7 days or class is over. Please.

Her Karen origin story has begun though. She will later say she was a victim of that teacher. Her white mother and father will coddle her. Racism continues. Conservatives really have nothing to worry about. We are very far from ever being woke.

What kind of classroom doesn't accept questions?
Ones that set a time and place for when to ask questions because they want to listen to the lesson first instead of thinking about what you want to ask.
