I do not think that. I won’t vote him in primary but I am realistic and know not everyone is on Bluesky or even political. It’s possible not everyone knows or learn of newsoms shitty views. The media will just show him dunking on Trump and he could end up our candidate
I am specifically talking about not voting. At all. To me, to put it bluntly is a bitch move. I’d swallow my pride and vote for him because he would be better for ALL. I’ve seen his shitty personal views, but I don’t see him being as bad as Trump. If he is feel free to educate me.
We don’t want dems to think we’ll vote for them regardless of whether they represent us or not. We should all want our representatives to feel the need to earn our votes. When dems feel like the left vote is secured, they try to earn extra votes from the right. More votes, right?

I agree, but from what I seen from that interview his opinion was against trans in sports (shitty) but did show empathy to the high suicide rate of trans people. So that is not the equivalent of Trump.

I think you’re overestimating how many voters are highly political and would receive that message. Scream it from the rooftops and hopefully your message gets through but at the end of the day I hope you won’t actually sit it out if it came to Trump or newsom and throw everyone else to the wolves
