the irony is that this post (shared here by oomfie) got a bunch of people pissed off you know, the kinds to compare trump to putin or stalin or just frankly, anyone not american. I'm not saying there is zero "foreign influence" but the purpose of incessant comparison is self-absolution.

American fascism is wholly home-grown, and established in the founding of the US. Sometimes fascist oligarchs make common cause with fascists in other countries, but that's not the cause of the fascism there. So, yes, Americans fascists have worked with Putin. No, thay doesn't mean it's his fault.
