Yup Unblur can be fine in creative use cases for zooming in without looking like pixelated crap, but it is not fit for purpose for evidence.

Nor will it ever be, since by definition it has to make up the missing info. The only way even a human can fill in the missing detail is that we've been told who the subject is. Otherwise we could only be sure that it *kinda looks like* Obama, which isn't enough for evidence.

What fascinates me here is that as a human, I immediately recognise Obama, and surely the model also had lots of images of Obama in its training data. The bias towards white must be massive if it kicks in even for somebody that famous.
