This week's theme for #SpaceFrogTuesday is simply #Starfield, in celebration of the upcoming 2 year anniversary! To me Starfield is about exploration, ships & characters, renewal & wonder. A gorgeous game that goes from breathtaking to thought-provoking in a blink--and I love it💫💜

this is really weird, but starfield has actually helped me to heal from a lot of trauma from an extremely abused childhood/adulthood. funny that a video game would do that, but here we are.
Sometimes it's hard to explain how we draw the connections we do, but Starfield is full of stories and ideas that really give you a lot to ponder. I can understand how some of that's a window into healing your own past 🫂

Starfield is my therapy. I get lost in it every time. And one of the traits I chose was exactly what I needed at that moment, and I had no idea until it hit me like a freight train. Still gives me the feels every NG. Plus, it has Sam. Sam is my bestie.
They did a good job adding some real situations and stories, not surprise some of them hit you in the feels. I know some people who've missed their parents who really feel that was well done--and Sam is great 🥰
I still can’t believe how they wove everything together: corp espionage, pirating, trafficking, exploration, existentialism... One minute you’re exploring and fighting pirates, the next you’re in a genuine heartbreaking moment. Yeah…The kid stuff trait was the one that hit me. It was so touching. 🥰
Love these and love Starfield! It's such a great game that you described well. It's what you make of it. You want action? It's got action. You want chill exploration? It's got that. You want crafting? It's got plenty of that. It also asks some pretty deep questions. What's not to love?

I still go back to it fairly often, it does everything I need it to do and it does it just right. Also the photo mode makes for some beautiful desktop wallpapers.
Love to hear it, and it definitely does. We're in a lull right now waiting for updates but for those of us who love it it's definitely a comfort game and plenty of new creations too
Yeah I am more than a little excited to see what's been cooked up behind closed doors for later this year.
One of my favorite things about starfield that I feel doesn’t get talked about much is background and traits. I love how you can chose stuff like bounty hunter, space scoundrel, soldier, etc. It really gives a lot to the player on how they want to build and roleplay their character.
I’m also stoked that the Outer Worlds 2 is kind of doing this too!
It's such a fun game to get lost in and explore. I'm looking forward to the future updates. Can't believe it's already been two years, though.

That it is Kelsi. I haven't been playing much recently but have been watching more Starfield streams, it's neat seeing the game through other people's eyes too
Sometimes I'm solving puzzles. Sometimes I'm helping people. Sometimes I'm taking photos of beautiful skies. Sometimes I'm grateful that all my ship's crew don't just interact with me but talk to one another and care for one another in a living community. We're out there living our best lives.
