In order to not have "blue alerts" on my phone wake me up in the middle of the night, I had to turn off ALL emergency alerts, because in my state "blue alerts" are the same category as dangerous weather and things that actually could matter to me. 🤷♀️
Do they actually send those alerts that actually matter to you?
When I don't have them turned off, I get flooding alerts and severe weather alerts that are extremely helpful. But after getting woken up by "blue alerts" that I don't need to know about a couple of times, I disabled them.
