My point is that an election in a district that has been in Democrat hands for years......and remains in Democrat hands is not exactly news to tout. However, your point is a correct one. For too long, the Dems have relied on identity politics, grouping voters by sex, race, ethnicity, no longer works

Not sure how possible that would have been since according to the New York Times, 89% of all counties in the United States showed Republicans gained vote numbers over 2020. Even the most urban areas with the exception of Atlanta metro gained substantial GOP votes.

This is promising so far. That said, Democrats need 2 flip red seats or at least purple seats. Note 2 self, I do not think any of the Congressional seats in Congress in special elections will flip this year because they are still overwhelmingly red. I could be wrong though and I want to be wrong.

Not to mention that in SD 10, dems swung the vote by over 10 points in their favor. It was not called until all the votes were counted. THAT is a big deal.

After reading this article, it turns out these seats were previously held seats and kept in Democrat hands, not a huge win, at all, but expected. This folks, is how the politicos on both sides spin things; always do your own research, don't ever rely on paid politicos like Sisson.
