I don't get why people say Obama's biggest controversy was his tan suit. What about drone striking children or bailing out the big banks? Were these not scandals?

The bank bailout is his greatest domestic failure, or at least his most consequential. I think a lot of the Democrat base just looked the other way at the drone bombing. But because he's such a force of personality, it's easy for the average Obama voter to forget that.
Deported more people than any president in the history of United States at the time. Was known as the deporter in chief. But he sang to Michelle once so whatever.
Did the GOP complain? No, then they weren't scandals. They were bipartisan efforts..
Not holding Wall St. accountable was unacceptable.
Obama was & still is beyond criticism for a lot of people. It's absolutely ridiculous to treat any politician with that degree of reverence, but that's how a lot of people operate
Tan suit was the dumbest but imo the circus over his criticism of the Henry Louis Gates arrest was bigger (remember the Beer Summit?)
The bank bailout mostly passed under bush
Also a much better outcome for ordinary people than “sorry your bank has collapsed you have no money now”. (the real blame lies on the banks having such little regulation that the financial crisis was able to happen in the first place)
I mean sort of. He was there for quite a bit of that. He put Geithner charge of treasury, Holder at DOJ, and Larry Summers helped steer the entire thing.
Not to mention that caging migrants, including children, happened during Obama’s presidency.
