Thank you. I couldn't save Vickie from cancer, but I could keep her as healthy as possible to make her final wishes come true…a concert by her favorite artist, singer Happy Rhodes, and an Alaskan cruise. Happy ran the GoFundMe to send us. I can't thank all of Vickie's family and friends enough.

Everybody was masked at Vickie's request. We had a variety of masks at the door. Happy hadn't performed her own music in 15 years, and granted this final wish by her biggest fan. She had to relearn how to play. She refused to accept even expenses, and or to sell tickets. youtu.be/Br3i-0R_FuY?...

This is a fundraiser to send Vickie Mapes Williams and her husband Chris on a journey to see the only 2 states she has yet to visit. Vickie Mapes Williams, who can justifiably claim to have advanced in large and small ways, the careers of numerous female artists, has been diagnosed with Small Cell Lung Cancer. This is an aggressive cancer with a poor prognosis. My name is Happy Rhodes. I've known Vickie since 1988 and I’m but one of many artists to have benefitted from Vickie’s enthusiasm and tenacity. She deserves so much more from this life but I wanted to give all of the people who’ve been touched by her spirit a chance to contribute to some wonderful moments for her.
