i don't understand why Christians are anti-abortion, doesn't the fetus' soul go straight to heaven? if anything abortion should be holier than baptism cause the fetus hasn't even been born yet and doesn't have original sin

Ah, because it's actually about punishing and controlling women. The burden of motherhood is their last remaining proof and consequence for "sin": that's why they keep saying that "they should be responsible for their actions". It's a life-long coercion and shaming tool.

Exactly. To them, marriage is being entitled to the unpaid domestic and sexual labour of a woman. That's also why purity culture exists: to channel the greatest possible number of women into this system, into insoluble relationships with men who repay them "spiritually" (that is, with nothing).

Ah but you forget, the Christian God is a cruel God. Baptism, common in Christian families, is the act of absolving the baby of the first sin. Because you are, inherently, born a sinner. So if a baby (or bundle of unthinking nerves) dies before being baptized, they go straight to hell :)

They're not afraid to abort the young of animals en masse. The anti-abortion rhetoric is racist. They have the idea that whites not breeding enough e.g. LGBTQIA+ and abortion posed as bad, allows islam extremists to invade and outbreed and replace the white race.

Hell, there's arguments that the Bible actually argues in favor of abortion given a few passages. But abortions don't grow up to put their tithe in the collection basket and that's a problem according to the clergy.

If I recall from my days as LDS, no, but I think it gets another chance to be born. It was really unclear because you don't get baptized until 8 yrs, the age of accountability, and you can't get into heaven without choosing Jesus. Lol Mormons be nuts. Can't speak for other Christians.

Conservatives aren't anti-abortion, they are anti-women, anti-freedom, anti-child, pro-rape, and pro-pedophilia. Conservatives don't give a damn if they drop a bomb on dozens of pregnant women, or if one of their own shoots up a grammar school. Or if the president of the US is a child rapist.
