Why should we (The UK worry) Trump imposes tax on cars going into the US, only luxury cars made in the UK go to the US. I'm sure they can afford an extra 25%. British don't buy American cars, they are poor... plus we don't have to pay an extra 25% on said cars. Hold our nerve an the US will crumble

It's just like Brexit, when anyone with half a braincell can see it's just a package of destruction wrapped up in yesterday's Daily Mail, - watch them run for the hills quicker than Billy Whizz. Rats leaving a sinking ship.

It’s almost like Retro 1930’s Germany is a thing! They say things go in circles and come back into fashion but this is a bit extreme

James, I don't understand why you and others in the media aren't explaining what's happening in the States in terms of Project 2025, which is clearly what's being put in place. (Sorry if this is a repeat message I'm new to Bluesky!)

They have no reason to complain, they love to see their Messiah deliver on his promises as long as the effects of his actions are confined to the people they deem to be their enemies. If they get a taste of Trump's medicine it's obviously Joe Biden's and the filthy democrat's fault.

They didn’t want freedom of speech, expression, religion, assembly. They only want *their* speech, expression, religion and assembly. Everyone else is punished , disappeared, extorted. Many folks have been warning about this for years! Legacy media and “free speech” warriors derided them.

Free speech, innit? You know, the kind that we in Europe are apparently completely shutting down? Arseholes.

I’m a public education worker in the US with UK heritage, working on my dual citizenship case. I stopped seeing US as “my country” long before this, but now I see it as an enemy to be stopped. Most people I know here are unable to even face the issue. I hope UK people learn from our mistakes.
