DeNiro didn’t have the same contact with Biden that Clooney did. It’s amazing that the few people who did speak out before the election, like Clooney and David Axelrod, are considered traitors. The cowards who saw the decline but kept silent are the good guys?

Although I 100% agree Biden was too old to run…even in 2020….i do not believe he was mentally compromised beyond the normal halting speech and word retrieval issues of being 80. Did you see him at the state of the union just 3 months earlier?
If someone is capable of doing a job, age (or disability) has nothing to do with it. There are plenty of people half his age without capability. Beyond that, using age as a restriction is ageist. And he has a stuttering issue that has been with him since childhood. It has zero to do with capability.
Biden worked with Spielberg before critical campaign moments such as his State of the Union address and the presidential debate. He was recruited by mega donor Jeffrey Katzenberg when he saw how Biden was struggling.
Trump and Biden both used at least 2 teleprompters to give their State of the Union addresses, which were scripted and rehearsed.
Watch it again. Biden goes off script several times including his exchange with heckling republicans. Which he does extremely well. No one with dementia could perform effectively publicly with proper tone/body language for nearly 3 hours. Rehearsal would be ineffective in a dementia patient.
I’m on your side truly. I think Biden should’ve stuck to the implication he proposed in 2020 that he might serve just one term. I only disagree that his deficits were signs of aging and exhaustion not a full blown cognitive disorder.
