Such a loss!
I was sad to learn this last night. I saw her live in a small venue and she noticed two young women dancing close to the stage that were singing every word to every song. So she invited them up to share the stage with her for a few songs and gave them surprise solos. Greatness.
She always interacted with the audience and shared her stage. Her small concerts were the best! My mom hosted one performance at our house. It was a joy!
How wonderful for you all to have had that experience!
