James Dobson dedicated his entire life to hurting children and making them afraid of an angry God. I can imagine few sins more damnable than that.

I’ve always wondered about people like Dobson. Are they aware they’re doing the wrong thing but so convinced that the big picture goal is to serve God and Christianity, that evil can be committed for good’s sake? Or are they so wrapped up that they believe what they do is always good?

I firmly believe it is not possible to be close to God and to be able to be like that at the same time.
