Deep Lexi lore: I used to make low quality, no budget homemade movies as a youngster, and when I was 14 I made a feature length parody Christmas movie where all the characters and backgrounds were paper cutouts. It was called Frizzy and Randolph’s Big Shitty Christmas Adventure

Like all my movies, it was lost in a hard drive crash in 2005. I still had some of the paper crafts for years afterward though, and with them as reference I give you these modern recreations of the film’s two misfit stars: Frizzy the Mudman and Randolph the Snot-Nosed Reindeer

A snowman esque character made of mud with sticks and rocks sticking out of him. He is wearing a fedora A reindeer with red fur and a runny nose

Frizzy was once a Frosty-esque living snowman, but the snow melted and wet the dirt below, turning it to mud. The magic hat remained though, and thus so did he. Randolph was the reindeer who had to stay home on this Christmas Eve because he had a bad cold.

The plot involved Santa accidentally falling out of his sleigh into a toxic waste vat. With Santa unconscious, time remains stopped as Christmas Day will never come until all the presents are delivered. Our misfit main duo have a night of debauchery while everyone is scrambling to resuscitate Santa.

Also in the final act Santa gets mutated into a kaiju from the toxic waste and the climax involves a giant battle where the North Pole army has to take him down.

That’s most of what I remember. Sadly, the failures of rotating disk based technology robbed the world of the movie. If it’d hung on for like one more year I could have preserved it by sharing it on YouTube. C’est la vie.
