The best solution is for people to have their pets fixed and not to breed. There are millions of animals in need at shelters who need a home. Obviously people can’t handle having 10 dogs which means they should be responsible to get them fixed. Encouraging breeding animals is irresponsible IMO.

My grandma did foster and rescue for over 30 years and she taught me the most humane thing you can do for an animal is spay them. They often spend their entire lives pumping out babies for people to sell. At least half of her dogs came from mills and they always had a certain look in their eyes.
Your grandma is an angel, and it’s wonderful you learned how awful it is for them to go through that over and over. That is why I am vegan, the same principles are there for animal agriculture especially the meat, dairy and egg industries. It is truly horrific what humans do, they deserve better 💔
👏🏼👏🏼 been adopting, volunteering & fostering in rescue for decades there is no such things as “responsible breeding” I’m here to tell you if 1 single puppy isn’t ok they leave it to die or give to rescue who isnt allowed to say where they are from. It’s about $ nothing else. Mama done dump em 🥲
Thank you for your work, I totally agree, there is no responsible breeding. It is cruel and for sure innocent animals die because they are deemed not good enough or have the right traits the human wants. Bringing more animals into the world intentionally is cruel when so many sit in shelters
They do that instead of letting them die. We do not ever do that. Backyard breeders too they leave them to side covered in fleas to die. Truth! have seen it over & over. Take these pups won’t give us mama. We took over 150 doodles HORRIFIC conditions after she was shut down. Nightmare that place 🥲
I wish there were stricter laws for animal abuse cases. Insane penalties and serious prison time. The cycle just goes on and on.

we find from breeders “good ones” 🙄 give us pups some asked us for pups back! Us-non profit rescue begging for donations after we spend thousands healing them feeding vaccinating them! Our rescue litters raised healthy socialized in our loving home. Breeder? NOPE no one will tell me diff. Seen it

So true. Our life’s work. Litter after litter we fostered these poor mamas come to us a bag of bones feeding their puppies with worms in them from eating rotten garbage to survive with injuries protecting pups. All beautiful sweet & amazing every single one of the 100+. We Can’t get over how sweet
I’ve worked in the farm animal sanctuary world and the abuse and neglect is horrific. All animals deserve to live a life of freedom, safety from humans and filled with love. Rescue work isn’t for the faint of heart. Thanks for being a hero for the animals!
