i find it interesting how with a lot of the recent dorothies you've drawn, the roundness of her face has kinda evolved from an oval that's slightly wider than it is tall into an oval that's pretty noticeably taller than it is wide

here's the secret to dorothy's elongating face: as dorothy and joyce's faces started spending more and more time together in panels, the more Dorothy's face got stretched to make her head not seem smaller than Joyce's head, which had a longer chin
interesting! to be honest though i think the wider dorothies are cuter than the elongated dorothies (not by much, ALL dorothies are cute, but like, if one is min-maxing...)
