worst take I’ve read today. how is anybody pushing ai when there is even 1 case of: the computer just made that shit up. one time and nah, no good. and it’s happened lots. the shit ain’t ready—nowhere near, so . . .

Guess you wont be getting on an airplane anytime soon or going to a hospital, definitely you have no confidence in US military technology either! These industries and more are all using AI NOW... right NOW.... and they touch 100's millions of lives on the daily, like it or not.

unfortunately i probably will have to do those things—but none of this is relevant to what i said. if anything it only makes the fact that the technology is not dependable more pressing.

I get it, many people arent happy about technology, but the topic is 100% relevant to the what I said and the conversation as a whole. AI and technology is already a HUGE part of everyday life (like it or not) and to say 'We cant trust AI to officiate sports' is total and complete nonsense.
