Dems should be the party of good, pragmatic governance, against 'kings' and corruption. But people are also saying Dems seem lame, & have no 'vision' for the country. Do you agree? (Honest question. I truly don't know if it would make a difference or if it's just stupid vibes.)

Democrats trying to win over Trump voters is a fools errand. It points them away from the center of energy in the party and depresses turnout. Big donor interests are not well aligned with very popular things like national healthcare, so the party keeps trying to win over GOPers instead.

Then Dems should put more effort into winning over big donors. Agree that hardcore MAGA is currently lost. But IIRC yr elections are decided by swing voters & independents. Also, no silver bullet here

Big donors go where power resides.

I consistently say that Republicans talk about themes while Democrats talk about policies. Things like tax credits, which is lame. Democrats need to talk in themes that resonate. But Democrats must also jettison what the right has successfully labeled as "woke." It's just killing the center left.

Our most effective Democratic leaders did talk in themes, from FDR's Fireside Chats to JFK's uplifting speeches.
